There are plenty of things wrong in this world, and many of these things directly affect our lives.
When we were young, things appeared so much simpler. Most of our perceived problems could be solved with a snap of the fingers: boom; done; finished; all better.
Too bad it doesn’t work that way anymore.
The sad truth is that most of our problems are multifaceted, and snapping our fingers just will not do. It’s important to remember that many different events likely transpired to lead us to our current predicament. Our problems don’t just materialize overnight, and we need to realize that they won’t be solved that quickly either.
It can be said that the measure of one’s maturity is contained in our ability to recognize the gray areas in our lives. Maybe it’s time we all stopped pretending that everything is so black and white.
