Most professions require some type of continuing education, to help keep their practitioners up to date on the advances in their industry. Staying informed on the changes in our field is one of the best ways to provide quality service to our paying customers.
Yet, some people seem to be upset that they have to keep learning things. They argue that they’ve been doing this long enough; they already know what they need to do their job. They think they should be exempt from doing continuing education. They see it as a waste of their time.
It’s puzzling to think that someone would complain about becoming smarter…
The greatest enemy of learning is knowing.
