Good enough is good enough, that is until it’s for us.
Inspecting the roof from the ground is fine, until we’re the one that’s buying the house, then we’re sure to walk on the roof.
Checking a minimal number of outlets is good enough, until we’re moving a king-sized bed to check all the outlets in the house that we’re considering buying.
Doing the eyeball test is good enough, until we’re busting out the laser and ZipLevel to analyze the foundation of our own future home.
We tend to go the extra mile only when the future is involved (our own future happiness) and not when instant gratification is the rule (getting paid our fee).
Wouldn’t the world (and our business) be a better place if we all went a bit above and beyond in everything that we do?
