It used to be hard to get something up and running; to start a new business.
You had to have an in. You had to know someone. You had to be picked in order to gain widespread distribution, to get the word out, to become a household name.
But the rules have changed. Now, anyone with a computer or a phone can garner their own distribution.
It’s still a difficult thing to do, but the part that’s hard has shifted to something different.
We don’t have to wait anymore for somebody else to pick us. The hard part now is deciding to pick ourselves; having the confidence to put it all out there; to take a chance; to believe that we’re able to do the thing that we’ve been dreaming about all this time.
Yes, we’re still waiting to get picked, only now we’re waiting on ourselves.
