If you’re really good at operating your software, a mediocre inspector can finish inspecting the average house in under an hour.
Wham, bam, thank you mam (or sir).
The hard part of doing a home inspection is not the data entry. Once you know your software, that’s easy. According to the Infinite Monkey Theorem, any monkey with a keyboard can bang out an inspection report. (Well, that’s not really what the theorem states, but how else could I get the awesome phrase Infinite Monkey Theorem worked in here!)
The hard part of doing an inspection is knowing what to write and what not write in the report. The really hard part is having the drive to acquiring enough education, knowledge, and experience to know the difference.
Any monkey can bang out a report; it takes a real professional to produce something their client will appreciate.
