Decisions.
It’s a word that most of us spend our lives avoiding.
Making a decision is hard. It forces us to choose. It compels us think about our options. It obligates us to figure out which direction we’re going to take.
Commitment is difficult. It’s intimidating. It’s exhausting.
It means we’re on the hook for the results.
And we don’t like having that responsibility thrust upon us.
So we hem and we haw. We put it off. We say that we need more time; we need more information; we’re just not there yet; we still have a few finishing touches to put on it.
Until, one day, we realize that it’s too late. Our window of opportunity has closed. Time has passed us by.
Well, at least we didn’t have to make a decision.
Or did we?
