It’s strikingly ironic that when all we’re measuring is the fee charged for something, we end up with very little information on its value.
Seth Godin said it best when he said our choices are, “You’ll get a discount and you will get less than you paid for” or “you’ll pay a bit more and you’ll get more than you paid for.”
