A Hard Decision?

We’ve all got a choice to make.

Do we do more, or do we do less?

We could do less (any most people and businesses do). We could put in less effort. We could use cheaper materials. We could figure out what’s the bare minimum we have to do to get by and do that.

Or, we could do more. We could put in more effort than people are expecting. We could go over the top on quality. We could figure out what’s the bare minimum we have to do to get by and blow right by that on our way to something that impresses our customers beyond belief.

Do less, and we get average clients who pay our bills.

Do more, and we’re able to get outstanding clients who eagerly pay more than average clients, are happier with our services, have more empathy for us when things go wrong, and are more willing to let their friends know how great a deal they got (and how great we were in providing that service).

More or less, huh? Doesn’t seem like such a hard decision.
