We often spend our days overwhelmed by the amount of work we’ve got to get done. It seems like we’re forever running, falling behind, never reaching the end of our pile of “important” things to do.
But the truth is that, all too often, we’re simply hiding.
Doing all the little things, the busy work, that we can find to keep us occupied so that we don’t have to do the hard work: the things that we really should be doing if we want to grow our business.
It’s much easier (and safer) to answer those emails, check our messages, and respond to all those people than it is to do the hard, uncomfortable work of growing our business.
Wasting our time on things that check items off of someone else’s to do list won’t get us any closer to our own goals.
